Every hour, around 60 men around the world die by suicide.

So for 60 days I'm carrying a 16 kg kettlebell 60 km, one kilometre for each of them. 40 km in training, then the final 20 km in one go on Sunday 29 November. Nobody else carries it.

I've had hard stretches with my own mental health. I'm not cured, but I've learned healthier ways to deal with it, and talking about it is one of them. This is for the dads, brothers, sons and mates carrying something quietly.

The goal is R20,000 for Movember, which funds men's mental health and suicide prevention, as well as prostate and testicular cancer research.
