My motivation

Fundraising for cause areas including:

Mental health and suicide prevention

Suicide remains the leading cause of death for Australians aged 15 to 44 and more than 700,000 people globally continue to take their lives each year. Sadly, one factor which contributes to this is the fact that many people like myself still find it difficult to ask for help.

For this reason, I’ll be using my upcoming powerlifting competition as an excuse to raise some money for a cause close to my heart and to try continue discussions around mental illness within my network.

I’ll be donating the AUD equivalent of my total (minimum 550) to the Movember Foundation - and anyone that would like to also donate can do so at the link in my bio.

Hopefully this acts as a reminder that help is always available and asking for it is a sign of courage and strength, not weakness.
