I last participated in Movember in 2011. I love having a beard, as anyone who knows me can testify, and have been growing one for 5 years. Please see my photos, and videos on instagram

I have had some health issues this year that have made me consider the health of my fellow men, and as such wanted to join the MoBros this year. I have therefore shaved off 5 years of my beard growth to commence on Nov 1st clean shaven.

This is a huge deal for me but I felt really motivated to add to the Movember movement by doing something that was really significant and meaningful for me as I join in promoting mens health.

Movember is the leading charity changing the face of men's health, and this Movember I'm joining them. Together we can make a difference for men's health – in prostate cancer, help me stop men dying too young. As a wider family this is an issue that has affected several of us and I'm doing this for them - and for all of us.
